birds nest

anyone know why my 6 line wrasse would be picking at my birds nest.i have caught it 3 times. it was just starting to look good and that little bast@$d started.would it be picking off parisites. i have inspected the coral and see no problems other than the bald spots left from the wrasse.thanks

I and a friend of mine both have the same issue my guess is the polyps look tasty... like a flatworm or something... I guess it is normal.

ya! my too... few months ago, i had some problem with my water parameter, some of my sps stn... and my sixline wrasse will pick off those dead tissue... now my sps r doing great... so i think that is normal for them...

if i leave the wrasse in the tank is it going to kill my birds nest or just pick on it once in awhile? i hope he doesnt find anything else too tasty. thanks

you know whats wierd is all of my hermits like to kick it in my fat purple b-nest... they just climb into the branches and hang out all day. i have never been able to figure out why
