Birdsnest and Pacilapora

Both of those corals are dying starting at the base and moving up. I cut them and re glued them to a plug. What would cause this. I have lps montis and acros all doing fine. All water parameters are zero. Salinity is 1.024 calcium is 385 and alkalinity is 9.6. I was told maybe asternia starfish but I can't find any.

What are your phosphates are nitrates at? Alkalinity is a little high but should be ok if stable. Both of these corals are pretty forgiving and have a good chance of recovering if you can correct the issue.
