I "acquired" this speciman as a pink birdsnest, sight unseen and it wasn't what I expected (was looking for the thinner/sharper edged variety).
I've since found that birdsnest can be both thin and fat, and in several different colors...with the same specimen having different colors under different lighting...but typically have growth that's very pointed.
In the past, I had purple digi (years ago) and this reminds me of it as the tips seem to be a little flatter/blunter than what I believe birdsnest should be. Unfortunately, I've re-arranged this tank enough (and created accidental frags) that I can't tell how tightly the colony will grow.
Pics are under T5's (10k, 420, ATI Blue & 75.25) and it appears very blueish/purple in person.
Thanks!
