Birdsnest RTN

I got a birdsnest frag on 8/4- it is my first SPS.

I was away for the past 2 days and just noticed RTN. While I was gone something happened to my actinic LEDs and they are running very dim- there is barley any light coming from them, but that has been the only change to my tank since I got the birdsnest. I would love to save this coral- it was a gift from my brother and it's one of my favorite corals. What can I do to help it? Like I said, it's my first SPS so I don't have any experience with this.

I'll check all my parameters now and post back. I just wanted to get this up so I could hopefully get some quick help.
Here are some pics:

The front side looks fine, it's just the back

Thanks- it would really upset me if I lost this coral.

My SG is 1.028. I keep it at 1.026, I just saw that my top off container is dry, so I'm working to refill that now. I thought I had plenty of water in there to last the few days while I was gone but apparently not. I'll work to bring the SG down slowly.
Also, my Mg is 1500, in the past I have aimed to keep it around 1450, but I accidentally overdosed a few months back and it has been that high for a while- not sure that is my issue though because from the reading I've done it looks like some people keep their Mg that high.

Other parameters:
pH 8.2
NH3 0
NO2 0
NO3 0
Ca 420
KH 9
Mg 1500
SG 1.028

I'll work to get my actinic lights back online today and to lower my SG. Does anyone have any suggestions for me on how to keep this coral from getting worse? I would really like to do everything I can to save it.

watch it closely, your best bet is to set your water to the correct parameters slowly and I would move it to a shaded area.. If it stops RTIng after this, I would add glue to the part that RTN so that it encrusts back over it..

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It hasn't gotten any worse so hopefully that's a good thing. I'm working to lower SG. I'll move the coral into lower light.

PO4 is 0.25- I tested it yesterday but accidently skipped posting results.

It was probably the high SG. If it gets worse you can try fragging it as a last resort. Looking at your pics, it still has some PE so thats good. Birdsnests grow like a weed so it should recover and take over your tank in no time. Keep us posted.
