Birdwrasse is it safe in reef

Hi I have a pair of birdwrasse can they go in to a reef tank and not eat corals or do they need fish only tank

they'll just eat all your shrimp
i've seen supermales eat smaller fishes as well

They can be quite indiscriminate in their habits. Their long probing snout is adept at eating a variety of benthic organisms (pretty much sample anything). Corals are not necessarily included, but they can still be destructive due to their active behavior.

Thank You all will have to think what to do with them For now they sit in the Q tank until I know they are safe.
