Are they OK with a reef tank. I have a pair in the Q tank and need to know they will not eat my corals when the time comes to move them

I have not had one in my tank. According to "Marine fishes"
They get to be about 11 inches and can eat small clams and
shrimps,crabs, hermit crabs.

This is a quote from the behavior section
" Can become aggressive, towards its tankmates especially
smaller fishes. It will grasp an elongate prey fish in its jaws
and bash it against the substrate until it breaks into bite-size pieces"

OH my they may need a tank just for them from the sounds of it Thank You

They also like to jump out of tanks so cover the tank. A pair
male/female will get along if introduced to a tank at the same time.
All individual fish vary in their behavior so it is difficult to predict
exactly what will happen.
