i have a tank that is mixed and it looks are
rather pleasing to the eye. at first i didnt think it was a good idea but it has a nice effect

Had a mix of aragonite and black moon in my old tank. Kind of salt and pepper mix. I liked it, but not as much as plain white.

Only pic I could find, not sure if it'll help:

What about south pacific live sand that liveaquaria sells for $70 for 20 pounds.Does anybody know what so special about their live sand?

Live Sand will die if shipped its waste of money in my opinion, best way is to get dead sand and get local reeferes to give a cup of sand from different tanks.
