I just noticed that the Sail fin tang I have, that has ich. Has a black blotch mark on the side of his face. Any thoughts? He getting quarantined tomorrow.
It might be a wound left by parasites that have fallen off. If the blotch starts getting red or ulcerated (ie secondary bacterial infection), then you should start treating with kanamycin (seachem: Kanaplex). Kanaplex can be used safely with Cupramine in your QT.
