Black Bristleworm/ Sea Slug

Folks,

I have several black organsims on a new piece of live rock. They are about 1-2 inches, have bristles, but also probiscus off the head. They almost look like one arm of a brittle star, but definately not that, just a comparison of the look. I've been checking books, can't find anything like it. Any ideas???

Sorry, Amy, the description's too vague. Borrow a camera if possible for a close up sharp pic.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say peanut worms. Most of the worm doesnt leave the rock just an extending mouth.

Here's an article Peanuts

If that isnt it check this site Chucks Hitchhiker page There's a lot of worms pictured there, maybe you'll find yours. The Hitchhiker page is under info links.
