Black Crocea

I had some RCer asking if I could get a Black Crocea. Well this is the blackest (is that a word?) Crocea I have found. It is about 5.5 in. The photo is under 175watt 20K MH about 6 inches under the light and about 1 inch under the water surface. Let me know what you think of it!!

Is it really closer to dark purple?? Hard to tell from the pic but I am thinking the best you might find is really dark purple. Nice clam and good size.

I saw a black and gold crocea at a LFS last week. Not sure if they ship, but I can give the RCer the info if they're interested

Yea it is the most black I have seen. The black maximas are very nice. I did actually pick this up to sell. It is bigger than I want in my tank at the moment.

I see that it is attached to a grid. Is it there because it wants to be or do you have it secured to the grid. The coral too?
