Black Egg Crate group buy -- anyone interestesd?

OK I think alot of us want black egg crate for our tanks. No one sells it local so I smell group buy on this stuff. If we can get a dozen people to order, which I am sure we can, its only $12.66+tax+shipping. Which means about $16-17 per sheet. Thats just a guess on shipping. Anyone want to take charge?

I called all over trying to find this locally and ET Plastics can get them from their NJ outlet that has 22 of them in stock. I was speaking with Gene and told him there was a possibility of a GB from the club and he quoted $10/sheet plus S&H which he guessed would probably be around $20-$25. He also stated that if we were to want more than those in stock the $ is going up as they are old stock.

sixfins Can you arrange it with your local person. Will you spearhead this for us. It looks like there is alot of interest. You may want to suggest to him that he order them all. We have an active club and I'll bet there will be more people who want some.

I just got off the phone with Gene over at ET Plastics. We will have to prepay for these, because he does not keep this in stock. He said for the case (15 sheets) $10/sheet plus tax of course, and his shipping cost is higher than origionally quoted at 32.40. So that's:
$150 for 15 sheets
$9 tax
$32.25 shipping
$191.25 total
which will be $12.75/sheet
we can have this shipped to ET Plastics and pick up from there or anywhere else, if it goes to miami there's more sales tax though. I do not have any credit cards and cannot absorb the cost of this buy right now so either myself or one of you will have to make collections and we can place the order. I live in Plantation off Sunrise and University

I thought that they could not ship them together. What would that do to shipping cost to add more over the 15?

He said it should be a slightly higher cost, but still work out to the same price per sheet. 12.75
That was my bad, What I should have said is there is a case (15sheets) minimum with up to 22 sheets available
