Was reading through the junk mail today and Harbor Freight has a PVC/Hose ratcheting cutter for $2.97 on Friday......if you've never used one of these, they are pretty amazing...no more pvc dust....nice unburred ends. Save a lot of time and mess....They also had a few other things that may or may not be good for the DIYers out there (I don't know how far I trust Harbor Fright stuff) I think their flier is on their website.

Stay away from that PVC cutter. I bought one a few years age and it did not cut for s***. I was only cutting 3/4 and 1 in pipe. Better off spending 10-15 for a better one. JMO
I do shop there every once in a while. You have to pick carefully the things you buy. Some junk , but some great buys also.

I agree... the yellow one from Harbor Freight is just laying here collecting dust while the grey one from Home Depot is the one I turn to whenever I need to cut PVC. The Harbor Freight ones are decent for cutting larger hoses without a jagged edge or anything but not too good for PVC.
