Very nice, I love my black ice I got about a month ago, started to darken in color now too. How much did u get yours for and which breeder if u know? Mine is from sustainable aquatics.

i got the pair for 210 at a LFS. and I used to work there so I know all the vendors they use and all the clownfish came from sustainable aquatics for a little while so I believe same as you!

Well go out and get a pair! Lol, I got mine from the Petco I work at, did a special order for this one and a regular snowflake just for myself hehe. Retail is nuts on these beauties, but I had my discount and a 25% coupon from tropical fish magazine, Hooray ! But you still got a nice price on those two beautiful specimens. Did you get to pick out of a group? I had to take what I was sent, but I feel I lucked out on my black ice, not as excited with the snowflake they sent but still nice.

My buddy called me and told me they got some sweet clowns in so I came down to the lfs and fell in love! but ya it was just the two of them. they also had a pair of Grade A clowns which were all black but the designs werent as cool and they werent eating as well. but the black ones did have this cool green hue to them

Those are awesome. I'm working my way up to being willing to spend that kind of money on fish, but I'm not there yet.

I've never seen snowflakes at my 2 local petco stores. I saw a pair of Picasso clowns a few weeks ago, but they didn't look healthy at all. Maybe I'll have to go back and check again...

Only "magnet" stores can order them when ever they want, the semi-Picasso and snowflakes are usually sent to stores as an allocation for a sale that the store is having, but not all petcos get the same allocations like that, my store is doing the best in my state as far as salt water goes, but still being evaluated for the magnet store title

Interesting. I must say I've had good luck with the small amount of stuff I've gotten from there, I'll have to ask about their ability to get some higher end stuff.
