Black Ice vs. Picasso's?

Ok, so I need a new pair of clowns for my new Blue Haddoni. Which would you go with Black Ice Oc from SA aquatics or Premium Picasso's from ORA? I currently have a pair of Onyx that are hosting in my Red Haddoni in another tank. I always felt that Percs were "more premium" fish but these new black Ice Oc are really nice looking and have a lot of black.

I personally like both. My suggestion is to look at them first in person and decide which you like better, since the variances within each strain can be dramatic. I've seen quite a few SA clowns with blunt noses, so watch out for that as well.

Big fan of the Blacker Ice from pro aquatix, very similar to the Black Ice from SA

Don't worry about what is more "premium", costs more, or more rare. Some will pay thousands for deformed fish they think look good - that doesn't mean it is worth it to me, or you, but it might be to them. Get what you think looks good, and YOU think is worth the money to spend.

Thanks for all in the input. I think I will probably go with the Black Ice as well. I have seen some Picasso's that look really good (lots of black and strong white), but I have not seen any lately. The black Ice look the best right from the breeder plus SA is a local company (Tennessee).

I love the snowflake and variants so I'd go with the black ice, or a black phantom from sea and reef. Depending on where your getting it from, the black phantom is about the same price or even cheaper than the black ice

i love my black ice clowns. good luck with the nem hosting, my clowns want nothing to do with my RBTA after 8 months. keep us posted on if the nem will host them and post pics when u decide what you're getting
