What is the lifecycle time line for black ich? I bought a yellow tang on 12/29 and placed it in QT w/ a couple of rocks from my sump. Visible black spots showed up on the 14th day of QT.
Does this sound like it came in on the fish or could have possibly come from the rocks? The black dots are very tiny so if I have it in the DT I don't think I would notice it on my Kole tang, bangaii cardinal or blue damsel. Although, I did have a sleeper goby that died last month but I never saw any black dots on it.
