Any one have any experience with this Angel in there reef tank? If so how do or did they do in your tank? I am thinking about getting one and wanted to know if it would be ok in my tank.
No experience but i wanted one. its a hit or miss with angels some will be fine in a reef and some will go crazy on your corals. very beautiful fish though one of my favorite of the centropyge angels.
i'm assuming its not for your 10g they still get rather large.
Centropyge nox is a beautiful little angel. AFAIK they're quite shy, similar to rusty angels -- I wouldn't expect to see the typical bold behaviour you might get with a coral beauty or pygmy (C. argi) If you keep clams or fleshy corals like brains, candycanes, etc. they may be nipped but IME the beauty and algae-grazing you get from keeping a dwarf angel make it worth the risk.
A 135g tank is a great size for a dwarf angel, especially a shy one - he'll have loads of hiding places and lots of grazing, and should feel right at home. If you do get one, I'd love to see pictures -- this isn't a dwarf angel you see often
