black ocellaris - do they have to be in pairs?

I bought just one yesterday. Is this bad and do they have to be in a pair?

No. You can pair them up with a regular Occelleris Clownfish. My plan was to have a B&W Occelleris clown and a regular Occelleris clown as a pair for my future tank.

U can pair any ocellaris or percula doesn't matter what designer names they might have.

If im not mistaken I think the OP was asking if they can be kept singly or best in pairs. Clowns can be kept singly but imo they are more interesting in pairs.

I have one ocellaris and one percula for over two years. They never paired...
