Black Os not paying any attention to RBTA?

I just added a pair of Black Ocellaris Clowns to my tank with a large RBTA. The clowns are much smaller and are swimming all over the aquarium but, have not even looked at the RBTA. I can't move the nem to bring it closer to them or put the clowns and nem together in a bucket (Ideas i have seen online). I know the clowns may never host the nem however, has anyone had this same situation happen to them with the clowns eventually warming up to the nem? I literally added the clowns last night and they have only been in the tank for a day.

Give it time. Some will host it immediately, others a few weeks, or maybe never at all. Try putting food near the anemone to lure the fish over there. G'luck!

E. Quadricolor (RBTA) are not natural hosts of Ocellaris clownfish. It may take some time for the clowns to warm up to your RBTA. Worst case scenario, they may never host your RBTA. It has happened.

It could take 1 minute, it could take 1 year - it's not guaranteed to host. I've had clowns take to Nem's instantly & some that took 2 months before it hosted.
BTA's are a good all-around nem, I think they'll host eventually. Never really had issues with clowns hosting BTA's after some time.

ive got some black ocellaris with a huge RBTA. I think im going to try the picture method: tape pictures of clowns in anemones to the tank glass for the fish to see. laugh all you want but ive read a lot of anecdotal evidence supporting the theory. i've already photoshopped an image of 6 baby black O's in a large RBTA - exactly what will be happening in my tank.

let me know if it works! I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Funny thing I notice this thread now... I was just at my lfs and they had a few little black and white O's, which were hosted by a GBTA. Actually two of them.

Pictures could have worked for me. They were in the tank for 3 months and started hosting 2 days after I taped some pictures of clowns hosting RBTA
