Hi all,
I am relatively new to keeping sps corals and recently added some new acros to my tank. My tank is up and running over 2 years but only felt it was ready for sps about 6 months ago. Last week I added 3 acros , a small portion of the polyps on one of them were black and recessed. The rest of the small colony looked perfectly healthy and still does. The shop owner did not think this was a problem and I can not find any info about this on the web.
Now two of my established corals are showing the same symptoms.
Can anyone please help me.
ph...8.2-8.4
alk...10.6 (alk is usually around 9dkh but changed salt recently)
calcium... 380 ( is normally around 400 )
salinity... 1.026
magnesium... 1230
temp... 25degC
nitrate... 0
