Black sand

Has anyone set up a tank with black sand? Anyone got pics?

i was told but forgot why, but something about black sand is bad. I think the chemical make up of the black sand is un-desiarable

i used 240 pounds of the tahitian black moon sand in my 300 no issues and it was great just it absorbs the light instead of reflecting it but looks sweet i have to say ill find a pic and post it

The bad part I have heard is that the light doesnt reflect off the black sand so your acros bases might bleach.
