black sea urchin

hi all got a black sea urchin the other day but done no much about them can any one who does let me no what they no, all i no is they feed off the live rock and if there spines brake off its because you have bad water qualty...

Your English teacher is rolling over in her grave right now. J/K Anyways, they eat the coralline algae that grows in your tank. They grow very very big and their spines are poisonious. They are somewhat clumsy and will knock over your corals and sometimes walk across them. If you have any puffers or triggers they will harrass them and probably eat them.

I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way but it is always a good idea to research these things BEFORE you buy them.
