black sea urchin

my black sea urchin has gone through a rough patch due to me having a spike in my nitrates and propate in the reef and has lost alot of its spines it look happy enough and is moving eating etc but will they grow back and wil it get better thanks

If the conditions remain stable and good it should regenerate its spines. Do you know what species it is?

Yeah the spines should grow back considering the condition remain favorable to their standards.
