Black skimmate

Hi guys, what does black skim represent?

That's not black just very concentrated & on the drier side.
Nothing wrong but if you like it wetter either decrease the air or raise the water level.
Personally, I'd leave it.

I’ve been running on wettest due to vodka dosing , not adjusted it in ages but now it’s darker , could be the higher fish load?

I prefer a dry skimmate like that.

Less emptying I guess , less salt top up
