black slug???

that is the best i can describe this thing that i just noticed in my tank. it is pretty small but it looks like a slug but is pure black. i tried to get a pic of it but it went into the rockwork when i got my camera ready. anyone ever seen or know if this guy is reef safe?

NM, i found it on melevs i think it is the Stomatella.

Yep I was just about to say Black Stomatella.
I have tons in my tank they are breeding very well.

Mostly come out at night, but if the food is scarce they will come out anythime looking for food.

I love them they seem to have a hard shell on their back.

hey maxdout, you might've gotten it from me. they hide under the frags all the time.

yea... i think i first saw it come from the lepestra piece. i thought i was just a black mark.
