looking at my tank this morning and i see a black slug crawling on a rock (***)
it looks like a cucumber, about half the size of an adult pinky....about say 1 to 2 inches long and about 1/4th inch wide
totally black, with about 1/4 inch long spikes all over it (like a catapiller)

is this a cucumber (in which i will leave it in)
or is this a evil nudi....
or something else
ive looked on the sea slug forum. looked on google. looking everywhere.
and if i took a picture, it would look like a little cloud (ie no help because of my camera)

that one goes by "sea slug" not sure exactly what it is though.. is that what yours looks like? I'll try to find some more info.

that is super close...
i dont think it is a nudi because it really is big compared to a nudi (nudis generally like <1 inch, this is at least 1.5 inches)

i hope it isnt some crazy spawning evil zoa nudi (which it doesnt look like, but there are SO many diffrent little evil critters)

Look around for "thorny sea cucumber" on google... Looks like it could be that..

I give up on exact species name though.. there's indeed TOO much..

That "sea slug" is of course a sea cucumber, and sounds like uaV1's probably is too. Image search for "Stichopus."

Cheers,

Don
