Black spine in sump..?

I have a quick question.. I had a black spine in my tank that I moved to my sump due to messing with my corals. Would I be good leaving it there..? or should I get rid of it..? I do like it and if it would help keep my fuge area clean I would like to keep it .... if not I will just give it away. thanks for in info..!

It would eat all of the macroalgae in your refugium. And almost any other algae. Coralline included. You're referring to the urchin, Diadema setosum correct?
