black spot tang

Hello everyone,

I came across a black spot tang in the LFS and it struck sone interest as I started reading about it.

It would be going into a 220 fish only tank.

What are peoples experience with them? God, bad and neutral.

Black spot tang? is that Acanthurus tennenti? If that is so, then they are good fish and dont get too large

they are stunning...
not tough to keep but do not do well with aggressive tank mates,,,
they do need a large tank...they are swimmers..

The most aggressive fish would probably be a purple tang and the purple tang will be going in after the bariene.

May have to rethink this fish, it would likely have issues with the powder blue I want to add later. Ill have to see if I can find an adult specimen.

I have one. Quite peaceful. I had a purple that bullied it. Had to sell the purple. Very nice Tang.
