Black spots on TR occellaris clowns

I have had a pair of tank raised occellaris clowns for about 6 months now and they have been healthy fish ever since I bought them. I went out fo town for the weekend and came back to find that they each have a few black spots on them. There are probably 6 or 7 spots on the dominant female and about 5 spots on the smaller male. The black spots are not small like ich. They are probably about the size of the point on a ball point pen. I have never seen anything like this before. What is the problem and what do I do about it?

Are they hosting in anything?

Clownfish can often get dark spots hosting in zoanthids and some large-polyped stony corals. It comes as a response to irritation from the coral, but doesn't appear to do any damage to the fish.

It would help if you could get a picture, just to make sure it's not something like parasitic copepods (which would be more raised, while the spots mentioned above are flat).

They are not raised. I would submit pics but my digital camera broke last week. The alpha female hosts in the bed of hairy shrooms and the male hosts in my candy cane coral.
