Hey guys, I notice someone on this forum posted a pic of a black squammosa and the question I have is:

1. Are they rare?

2. Do they command the same prices as the b/w maximas?

3. Who else has one or have pictures?

Thanks!
Mike

I remember a post about one. I think the owner said it was more of a dark purple. I've seen a white and black (more of a dark brown) once locally, but I don't know who bought it.

Oh, yeah. Look at his avatar or gallaery for a more descript picture. Nice, but I dont thuink I would call it black. Im guessing a cool green with a purplish brown. But I am just guessing. Like I said, nice, but I wouldnt call it a black.

Hey, just checked it out, your right in his galleryits more of a green/teal color. I guess depending on the camera or the way you look at it, it looks black. Oh well, it looked cool though.

Wow, i never excepted anyone to think that much of anything from my tank XD
yeah, the squamy deff isnt black, its a very vibrant green and purple... still the only one i have ever seen like it though...

A4Twenty, you mean your fish store has a black and white maxima right?

Please take a pic of the b/w squammie so all of us can see.

Thanks
