Black thing on my zoa, help?

Got a bunch of zoa frags 2 weeks ago.

One is almost all closed since yesterday with somw black blop on them.

I took it out and removed most with some tweezer. Looked like feece or something.

All other zoa are wide open...

Could be poop, could be the zoo's releasing zooanthellea, but I don't recall weather or not they do that. I know many LPS do on a daily basis, but zoo's? I'm not sure. I would say poop.

brown jellyinfections look similar, but since that photo obviously shows the junk coming out of their 'opening', makes me think their releiving themselves. And there you are with a camera to capture the magical moment.

In the first pic on the top right it looks like it could be waste but the others have bubbles in them?

Do you have any red slime algae in your tank? If you do it looks like some could have made your polyps closed up. i'd lightly run my finger over them and see if it would come off

It's pretty stuck to it, I needed tweezer and took 5min to clean it.

Only got diatom and they are gone.
