When and how is the best way to feed a blasto wellsi?

I just take a small peice of shrimp or something and when hes nice and puffy I place it in him and he eats it right up.

I find that mine will also eat up any leftover flakes that fall on them

and good thing is they are real sticky, so they are easy to feed.

I shut the pumps off when my twilight light cycle starts. I run actinics only for an hour before lights out.

I target feed a mix of cyclopeeze, mysis and other chopped up frozen food.

How often do you feed ur blastos? It seems as though I have to feed them almost everyday or else they will start to recide or look all shriveled. I feed it mysis andsometimes I mix phytoplan (phytoplanton diet) with it. Has anyone heard of this brand, whether it is good or not? also, my two clowns always pick the food out of my blastos mouth unless I block them from coming over there. But since it takes about 20-25 minutes for them to digest their food, I have to monitor the clowns for that amount of time. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Do a google search for a "lunar lander" aka feeding hat... many people including myself use them for feeding other corals such as sun corals and stuff like that

or you could take a small container thats sea through and put the food on the coral and then cover it w/ the container until it eats the food.

JL I target feed twice a week and feed the fish almost every day. I add phyto once or twice a week. Mine are fully extended everyday.
