Please help I bought a blast coral a few weeks ago and it still hasn't opened all my other corals are doing great and opened fully like they are suppose to not sure what to do

What are your parameters? How big is the tank? What kind of lighting are you using etc? You need to provide with some details before we can help you out. A picture always helps too.

Wow! I know you said that it hasn't opened up for you yet, but has it always looked like that? Where was it placed in the tank? (up high/down low) Aside from your pH and your salinity being a tad low, everything else seems to check out. I'm not exactly what the deal is, but you might want to give the coral an Iodine dip (Lugol's) or perhaps use something like Revive or Coral Rx and then find it some shade for awhile. Hopefully it will bounce back for you. GL.

Thanks it started out on the bottom of tank so I figured it might not be getting enough light so I moved it to the top and it didn't look like that when I bought it so I will try what you said and hope for the best

What are your alkalinity, calcium and magnesium levels? Those are very important to have in range when keeping stony corals.

Not sure on those at the time but all my other stony corals are great 2 hammers, torch, plate coral, frog spawn, aussi Duncan's, acans, and a bird nest all open and very happy

I have mines under a overhang which is doing pretty good and getting good growth. Also I have read that if you catch a frag that has been recently cut and only has one head than it can be hard to keep it going. I was actually told from my LFS to always try and buy a frag with at 2 heads on it. Don't know how true that is?? Good Luck

That looks fairly receded, but you might be able to coax it back to health. I'd recommend low light and minimal flow (not nothing, but light). Blastos are sensitive to too much light and on too much current and will pull back with too much of either.
