Blasto problems

For some reason my hermits keep going to my blastos. They are crawling all over them and making them close up. Why is this happening? It usually happens hours after they've been fed (the blastos).

Can this eventually kill the blastos preventing them from opening up? I am really considering getting rid of the hermits but they do an amazing job cleaning up all the left over food. Not sure what to do. Im in a dilemma.

Side note: All my hermits are green. Not sure if they are any good or not. Ive had problems in the past with blue legged and scarlet. Maybe I can get smaller ones. These green ones are getting pretty big.
