blasto reproduction

I got my first blasto wellsi frag this week. It only has one on it. My question is how do these reproduce? Is it by division? Mine was really expanded yesterday and today it is a bit smaller but longer (more oval) with a pinch in the middle and wondered if that had something to do with reproduction or if something is irritating it. Thanks!

Well most of us wont witness there sexuall reproduction, but can witness them growing outward. I havent seen it by division with mine, but start as buds near the fleshy base of the mother polyp and eventually lays down skeleton to support it's outward growth.
