So I have a 12 head colony of Blastomussa merletti in my 12g nano they did great until about a week ago. They seem to be flat looking and at night when the other blastos are nice and plump the 12 head purples are kind of coned up. Also I have noticed a loss of coloring. The lighting is a 150w 14k MH. They were under 250w 14k MH when I got them off a guy. My water parameters are perfect. The flow is on the low to medium side. Also they are not in direct lighting I have them under a slight shadow from a powersweep. I feed them regularly and wait until they eat so the shrimp don’t steal the food of them.
Now some things I think might be bothering them to act like this… I have a clown goby that perches on everything (as soon as I catch him he’s gone) also I moved him around a few times last week I know they are sensitive to movement but this is a little extreme.
If anyone has any information on why they are doing this or how I can get them back please let me know.
