Not Likely 2 Ever Grow Up
I got two free frags of Blastomussa Merletti (Merleti - seen it spelled both ways) with my order from IPSF. I can't find much info on this coral... found a lot on the australian Blastomussa Wellsi, but not the Blastomussa Merletti.
My lights have already gone out, so I'll get a picture up tomorrow. The branches are about 1/8" to 3/16" thick with polyps that are red with bright green centers. Polyps vary in size from 3/16" to 1/4". Its already putting out new "buds" and tiny new polyps are emerging.
I would like to trade one of the frags ('cause I don't need two) for some snails or a frag of something that you are willing to part with (on our "want" list: favia, echinophyllia, porites cylindrica, corky sea finger).
