Bleach Spots after FWD?

The Shrimp X

Ive had my squamy for about a year and a half to two years.
When i first got him i had a problem with PM, and did a FWD which helped and he was back to full health in no time.
Well now he is in my 75gallon reef and for a little while i was having a problem with hair algea.
This was due to my salinity and phosphates going high, now they are under control and he suddenly had PM again. =[
I did a FWD for about 10 minutes last night and today he doesnt look better, he possibly looks worse. Now he has bleached spots on his mantle.
Any ideas?
I know FWDs stress out the clam, but i feel as though i should do another one for the recommended 30 minutes to be sure to be rid of the PM.
Any ideas?

how are you dealing with the phosphates?? are you running a GFO or other Fe based product?

if you are remove it from the system and start running lots of carbon if your not already.

can you post a top down pic of the clam?

the bleaching is probably the clam dumping some of his zoox but i don't know why yet.

To deal with the phosphates i have been doing many water changes over the past 2 weeks.
I also took down my fuge as it was what was dumping the majority of the phosphates into my tank.

My camera is dead at the moment.
But the bleach spots are mostly at different points along the edge of the mantle, and now the parts that have the bleaching are now somewhat ruffled, not pinched, just ruffled.
The spot that was originally pinched is still pinched.
Im really stuck between the second FWD.
The thing is, i dont want to stress it out to much by doing a second one, but it could be the cure.
But if i dont or even if i wait, it could get worse.

Ill try to get a pic soon.

Another update.
I recently added a yellow tang.
Just now i witnessed him try to graze on the mantle.
Could this be a possibility of why spots are bleaching?

he may or may not be the cause but he is definitely a problem now. bleaching like that could be brought on from many things, including stress from the fish or the dip.

how did you prepare your dip?

are you running any carbon?

if you do decide to dip again, i would go for at least 20min and try get the water all over and through the clam, don't just plunk him in.
