Bleached blood eyes?

disc1

-RT * ln(k)
I've had these blood eyes for a little while. For the first couple of months they looked great. They closed up for about a week or so then came back out looking fine. Since then, some of them have lost all their color. In the picture I think you can see one on the backside that is still pretty red. Really it seems like all the bleached ones are on the same side of the rock. Any ideas?
My params are in my sig.

What lights are you running and where are the zoas positioned in your tank? Where they acclimated to the light at all? They look like red people eaters, and if they are anything like purple people eaters, they do better in lower light.

I have a 4 x T5 lights. this guy is sitting pretty close to the bottom, but is directly in the light. It started out on the sand and then got moved up to here. It has been in it's current position for about 6 weeks before all this started.

And I think you're right about these being red people eaters. I don't know much about naming zoas, but now that I look it up I think you're right.

These guys were ghost white for over two months. I noticed yesterday they were pinking up and today they are getting red all the sudden. I do a water test and my alk is low. I'm down to 2.8 meq/L, right at 8.0dkH. Could that have been the problem all along? Some of my other zoas are looking better all the sudden.
