I got the coral from a buddy of mine he has it in his sps tank and it bleached i bought it off of him. Now It was a blue tip acro colony and now its yellow the poloyps are still out.
how long will it take to bring the color back its been around 30 days since it bleached in his tank i'm guessing.

I have had it for 1 week now. its sitting under my 14 K 400 watter .... with lots of flow around it.

Nobody can say how long it will take, it just depends on what conditions you are providing to reverse the bleaching and how bad off the coral is to start. I've rescued bleached pieces from an LFS and some take days and others take weeks to recover. I'd keep it on the bottom of the tank out of intense light, maybe even partly shade it until I see some brown start to fill in.

there is no brown on it

If it is bleached, it means the coral has no zoox in its tissue. You want to get it out of overly intense light (which causes bleaching) and let it recover. Once the tissue regains zoox (which are brown) you can slowly work it back into higher lighting until you find some place it is happy.
