bleached hairy mushrooms

I was given a piece of lr and I found out later that I have a good size hairy mushroom attached that is very bleached. What is the best way to bring it back.

If its bleached, it means there is too much light. If you dont have any light demanding coral in the tank, you can use a light filter. Use something like a screen or two, or three, and it will lower the light put on your tank, then as it gets adjusted to the light, slowly adjust it back to origanal settings.
