Best way to move hairy mushroom corals off live rock

I have quite a few hairy mushroom corals, and I want to move some onto frag plugs, and I don't know how to move them onto frag plugs, and need advice.

Chisel them off. A less than cherished wood chisel works well. If the rock is soft, you can carefully scrape a thin layer of substrate off under the mushroom. Saves the rock vs. Going caveman with a hammer and stone chisel.
