Blenny algae eaters

My starry blenny is constantly working on the rocks. He doesn't eat hair algae once it gets long, but once I clear a patch off he continues to work on the rock and it doesn't get a chance to grow back. He also is quite a pig during feeding and eats anything offered from frozen to flake, and will eat sheets of algae from a clip. Good fish, great personality -- bold, inquisitive, and peaceful to other tankmates.

+1 one the Starry Blenny, one of my favorite fish. Like Randy said, constantly picking about in my tank.

Could also consider a "golden" algae blenny -- adds a bit of color to the tank,

nice blenny! The starry blenny is so "camo'd" he is invisible on the rocks a lot of the time.

Bicolor blenny is another one. But with the many blennies I do have, I have to say that it really depends on the individual fish. I currently have a lawnmower blenny, orange spotted blenny and starry blenny who don't go around to clean algae. They are fat and happy eating everything else I put in the tank!
