This blenny is so greedy that it will try to eat anything. Here is a picture of it with superglue gel on its lip! It probably thought it was biting at a piece of shrimp since the gel turns white in the water and looks like a bit of raw shrimp.
Now for you PETA people out there, the blenny can indeed still eat. I was concerned that it managed to glue its mouth shut (which would serve it right IMHO) but I put food in the tank and watched it eat. I do not starve my tank, no not at all. But this blenny is such a voracious eater it would constantly eat if I fed it more than once a day, which is more food than it would get in the wild
Watching it rub its face in the sand trying to remove the glue had me laughing so hard, I had to put the camera down and wait to take the photo later.
