blister on eye

Well, I got some new fish from a tank I took down, and one of them has a blister on his left eye. I noticed it a couple of days ago and thought maybe he hurt himself in the move...hoped it would subside. It has not. It's now larger.
Im thinking I've got a sick fish that's going to need some treatment. I don't have a QT. Can you guys give me some ideas on what's wrong and what to do?

Likely a bacterial infection. If you don't want to medicate the water directly with Minocycline (Maracyn 2), then you can try medicated food. Some fish are picky eaters, and if your fish doesn't want to eat it, try starving him for a few days, then feed him only the medicated food. I've had great success with medicated food from Jungle Labs.

ok, I guess this issue I've got is the tank is a reef tank, so treatment inside is not desirable right. I may look and see if I can get him into a little breeder box and feed him there.

Since the fish is eating, then feeding him directly in the display is fine since the food will be eaten before it dissolves.
