I bought a pair of Perculas about 3 weeks ago. They had been in quarantine all this time. They had been eating ok and looking great; however, I noticed something wrong this morining when the female refused to eat.
She is gasping and breathing rapidly, she also looks bloated and constantly swims like looking up (though not all the time) and not always on the surface of the water. I dont see any apparent spots like ich or whittish mucus like brookynella, she does have a black something attached on one of her eyes, it kind of looks like a tick on a dog. She looks weak and sometimes stumbles from side to side.
I am currently doing a formaline bath since I know this helps with bronquial parasites; nevertheless, I have no idea what she's got.
Any ideas? anyone?
