Blocked collector

Help! I need advice on how to clean a blocked plankton collector.

I've been soaking it in vinegar and to no avail. Barely anything is dripping through. I've only been collecting rotifers for 3 days now and have been rinsing after each time.

Did you perhjaps rinse in very hot water? Most screens are nylon, which can melt, but at pretty high temps. If vinegar isn't cleaning it, I'd assume it was melted or something. Dunno, mine is 4 months old, gets rinsed about every 3-4 uses, and has never clogged, somethings up with yours.

What brand is it?

FAF can be left in bleach overnite,( polyester )others will desintegrate with repeated bleaching(nylon).

Mine's from FAF. I don't think I put any hot water in it (I wondered about impurities (rust) from the hot water heater so avoided that - I think).

I just looked at the instructions on it again and it does say you can set it in boiling water to clean it! I think I'll try the bleach first.

Thanks for the help!
