Anyone know what this could be on its fins and tail? It's on all fins. Just noticed Today . None of my other fish have this. Sorry I couldn't take a better picture.

it's not lymph. I've had anthias die from this... I suspect a bacterial infection. I can dig up pics of the same thing on other anthias... only ever affected anthias IME.

OMG.... And how do i do that without taking out all of the rock?

I force the fish to one side of the tank, pull out some of the rock, and corner the fish with a big sheet of 1/4" acrylic. That way you only have to take half your rock out :P

Get us some better pictures. White smeary blobs could be lots of things. Most of them don't require treatment.

Here are the pics I mentioned. The milky pectoral fins were classic. It's almost like they were stiff, and the poor fish needed to use them more like paddles. You can see other areas of white stuff...

Wow.... I gotta talk to you about lighting.... I like that.

On the side of the growths... They do look similar, but have what looks like lint tails flaring off the ends of the fins... I'll take some more pictures.

It really looks the same as what mine had. What do you mean be lint tails?

What fell off? Do you mean the filaments? Those are normal on this species...

Any idea?

It didn't eat this morning and it's swimming at the top. It's usually hanging off the rocks at the bottom.

I'd get him into a QT and treat with a broad spectrum med like nitrofuracin green powder.
