blotches or red spots

started this thread since the other one was so long and i just wanted to bring up one point. my yellow tang just died and after taking him to the store this is what we came up with. that it sometimes is caused by poor foos quality mainly lack of nutrients, which was not my case. and the other could be electricity in the water at low levels could cause that. i just put a grounding probe in the sump and hope that if that was the case it is at least one less thing to worry about.

My experience with this has been a bacterial infection. In to the hospital tank and some antibiotics and all is good. I have a chromis do the same thing and had the same outcome after treatment
