Blue Clove and Green Star Polyps the only ones that spread like mad?

Looking for something to grow on the back glass of my tank that has color.

I have a hard time getting SPS to grow on the back glass, but they grow pretty well anywhere else, and I don't really like xenias.

I've seen other star polyps, but I don't quite know if they are as prolific as GSP or BCP (hah! that's a new one.)

Also, does BCP spread by releasing babies into the water column, or does it spread like a mat instead?

Any suggestions / info would be great!

I've seen people grow Monti and Chalice over the back of the tank. It looks great!

i'm having a hard time growing monti's and chalices on the back of the tank. not sure why, but they simply don't grow at all.

i had a rainbow monti sitting on the backside on a sealed magnet for months without any change in size.

I have 2 different color varriants of gsp ive placed in random areas on the back wall and overflow... kinda nice where the mint green color meets the lime green

There are numerous different color shades... there was even pink star polyps around way back in the day

sorry i meant to be specific, where i thought there was only one or two color kinds of gsp that spread.

i've seen other star polyps, just not as prolific as the normal gsp.

Blue cloves reproduce readily. They won't just grow laterally like GSP will. They'll start popping up all over. They're very pretty and look nice, but will easily overtake and suffocate nicer corals in some tanks. Just beware.

also grows like mad. Hard to keep the orange color though. www.aquacorals.com sells them when she has frags
