I just got a 4" blue crocea T. I have it on my substrate right now. It is in a 55g, under 2-400w 10ks w/ 2-65w actinics. It is leaning towards the glass slightly. Where should I put him? / Is it in a good spot?
Croceas prefer to be place on rocks, in a secure location where it is not in danger of falling...also keep in mind that croceas require the most lighting compare to other clams, so place it under enough light...(Your 400W system should definitely keep your clam very happy )
With 400W of lights you can place your crocea pretty much anywhere you want. CTN is correct, croceas prefer to be on rocks, if you are going to leave it on the sand place a small flat rock under so it can attach itself.
